Stop your pet from escaping the garden with the help of the entire family!
PetChallange is a strategy game for Windows 8 that trains your brain cells and thinking ability.
You can play it anywhere: on the way to work, at home, in your bed, you name it.
The games can be timed. You can set this feature in the Settings pane. A score is then saved for the finished level. The best score will appear on the game menu icon.
It is perfectly suitable for people of all ages – I had to set the age limit to 12 due to ads appearing in the game. Otherwise the game is void of any content not suitable for children.
The game consists of 60 levels grouped into 4 stages: easy, medium, advanced and champion. The first 15 levels, i.e. the easy ones are free. You can buy the rest of the levels, i.e. games 16-60 for a small fee.
The game display Windows ads by default – you can disable them from the Settings menu for a small fee.
This is the main menu where you can select your game. The best scores of each timed game is shown on the game icons:
This is the game board of a timed game with time taken below the garden. You can see the cover controls with the face icons to the left of the garden. The goal is to position the controls on the garden so that faces block the escape routes of the pet.
You can drag and drop the cover controls onto the garden to block the escape routes of the pet. You can flip the controls by double-tapping them. The pet is only allowed to move up, down, left and right, i.e. not diagonally. It cannot move through the blocks on the garden: the fences, the trees, bushes and garden tools. It cannot move through the faces on the cover controls either. You must place all covers on the garden even if they don’t directly block any escape route.
The red arrows show those edges of the garden that the pet can still reach after placing all controls on the garden.
The game is complete when all covers have been used up and the pet cannot escape.
